Why I Started bmdragonswords.com
I sell Unique and Quality Dragon Figurines, Fairy Figurines, Skull and Gargoyle Figurines, Grim Reapers, Swords, Daggers n Knives, Tough Stainless Steel Jewelry (for the "workin' man"), Cool Wall Art Tapestries, and more!
My "day job" is Construction/Maintenance Engineer in my family's Wholesale/Retail Meat Business in Anchorage, Alaska - Mr. Prime Beef.
I started in this business with S.M.C. and with an S.M.C. Gift Card Website to hopefully earn some extra income. After about six months of "zero sales" and costly stock shipping charges to Alaska (shipping fees to Alaska compare to shipping fees to a foreign country), I looked into a professional website provider - Visible.net
and voila! bmdragonswords.com was born with very little operating capital and funded with my modest salary.I decided to specialize in Unique Dragon and Fairy Figurines that I didn't see offered on other websites, as opposed to S.M.C. Dragons and Fairies that I saw on almost all other websites. I researched long and hard for Suppliers and came up with some Awesome Imports from Great Britain! I am still an S.M.C. Member and still offer some of their merchandise, but I try to offer Unique Fantasy Collectibles!
My Figurines are Quality and detailed, my pricing is fair and competitive, and my shipping fees are set at my cost only! My business policy is built on the "Old School" principles of Honesty, Integrity, Hard Work, and PERSONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! I personally conduct all of my own Marketing Campaigns (which is one heck of a "School Of Hard Knocks" learning experience in itself) on top of the many hours I spend at my "day job". I buy and stock most of my Cool Merchandise before it is ordered, for Fast Damage Free Shipping to My Customers. Upon arrival from my Suppliers, I personally inspect and repack my merchandise in extra padding, then ship inside a U.S.P.S. Flat Rate Priority box lined with additional padding. I HATE RECEIVING BROKEN MERCHANDISE IN THE MAIL, DON'T YOU?
